While the 8-session program offers the most profound and lasting results, we do offer individual one-off sessions for post-discovery clients unable or not ready to commit to the full program.
These one-off sessions only include hands-on body work, 5m of preliminary assessment and 5m of debriefing.
For more comprehensive and thorough one-off sessions, there is a $75 upgrade fee to incorporate:
Screening, updates, assessment (5-10m)
Guided breathing and somatic movement (5-10m)
Interwoven physiological education
Debrief (5-10m)
Post-Session Report sent out within 72h

The techniques we incorporate are

PRECARE
Hydrate sufficiently 24-48h before your session to minimize the likelihood of nausea, dizziness, or prolonged soreness, and to increase the glide of your soft tissues.
Shower prior to your appointment and DO NOT MOISTURIZE—this allows for the precise grip and friction needed for effective neuromuscular techniques.
Have a snack or light meal no less than 1h before your session to minimize the likelihood of nausea or dizziness.
Increase fiber and protein intake for a couple of days before your appointment to promote a smoother experience and activation of your body’s natural healing systems.

Plenty of education on physiological and biokinetic fundamentals
-

Ice any sore areas for 15m within 6h of sensation onset followed by a warm shower.

Everyone. Seriously!
Education is a huge component of this program, but it can certainly be overwhelming or confusing for some.
Not everyone will mesh with the approach/philosophy or our therapists’ personalities/energy—we’re not woo-woo new age, but we’re also not strictly scientific; we’ll definitely take “the vibe” into consideration.
If you’re open-minded or knowledge-hungry or willing to try new things (even when it’s daunting), this might likely resonate with you.
We won’t know until we’re in each other’s space.
